The 910 Story
This Church was established in the year 1922 under the leadership of Rev. Glover Sapp that convened in a store front on Robinson Street. Chartered members: James and Ella Clemons, Will and Fannie Hicks, Willie and Eltruett McClendon, Fannie Banks, Maggie Cooks, Barbara Giles, Mary Harris, Jeanner O’Neal and Lula Washington. On September 8, 1924, the Trustees, Will Hicks, James Clemons and Willie McClendon purchase land and built a small wooden Church (called “Pepper Hill”) on this very site, presently referred to as “910”.
During the 1920-1940 decades, the following families were added to the church: the Andersons, Browns, Bryants, Chambers, Chenaults, Darbys, Davis, Genreets, Griffins, Hawes, Blounts, Hestles, Lucas, McGees, Miles, Sellers, and Wrights. Many of the above noted families are present in our church today. We thank God for these families and all of the families that have become a part of the “910” church family over the past 100 years.
Our Purpose
To build a body of believers who continue our heritage of consistent prayer, lively worship, and relatable preaching; while maintaining a strong community presence. Helping people to realize their full potential through love, discipleship, and education.

Youth Ministries
Youth ministries is a group of pre-teens/teens and young adults that gather every Tuesday on zoom at 8:30 pm and Wednesday at 7:30pm for bible study. We gather at least once or twice a month for fellowship and to catch up outside of church and get to know each other more. This is the part where loving people and living well is developed.
